Tim and Belinda Mara HSoA Printmaking Award is a flexible period opportunity which provides printmaking facilities and support to an artist interested in developing the field in a personal way.
Formal techniques of printmaking have been instrumental in the development of art since the 15th century and before that since prehistoric times in the form of cave based hand printing.
The award panel wishes to encourage innovative and experimental thinking and its utilisation, in traditional printmaking techniques in a personal ways.
The Tim and Belinda Mara HSoA Printmaking Award exhibition is yearly, presented at HSoA Gallery by representatives of the Tim and Belinda Mara Foundation.
The predominant objective of Hampstead School of Art is to ‘Unleash the Artist in Everyone’ .
